The project
Conceived as a commercial building of shops and offices, the main challenge of this project was placing a large construction potential on this narrow site, steeply sloped in both directions: along the avenue itself and toward the parallel street. That condition became the formal driver, generating "cascading" bands that reference the Cascatinha neighborhood, toward which the building is oriented.
