The project
The Ubá Cultural and Tourism Center is a project developed to nurture, strengthen, and disseminate the many forms of artistic and cultural expression produced in the Zona da Mata region.
Divided into distinct buildings for Philharmonic, Arena Theater, Cinema, and Commercial Space, the complex is organized around a civic plaza, which also serves as a venue for outdoor concerts and events.
The complex also takes on the dignified task of exhibiting and protecting the only full-size replica of artist Cândido Portinari's masterpiece: the monumental panels "War and Peace".
