The project
Drawing on the organizational principles of a modern Muslim society that remains strongly rooted in traditional values, the project applies a geometric layout with multiple axes of symmetry to distribute the program with the required hierarchy and harmony. Everything begins and ends at the central point of the structure, the mosque, where all axes meet. Around it are gathered the rectorate, the library, and the other institutional buildings. Next come the classroom pavilions, interspersed with leisure and sports facilities. Finally, the student housing blocks.
The campus form presented here alludes to a flower for purely symbolic reasons, but its shape is neither predefined nor closed and can evolve in its facilities and structure according to the size and geometry of the site.
